Lunar Photos : The first three Lunar photos were taken on 03/10/2008 using Celestron C11 telescope and an Olympus E330 at prime focus. The last five were taken on 03/14/2008 using the same setup but with better seeing conditions plus a little better focus.

Lunar Eclipse : Feb 20, 2008 Total Lunar Eclipse. These were taken with an Olympus E-330 attached to a Celestron C5. Prime focus, F/10, 100 ISO, 6sec exp. The E-330 is very good for this kind of photography due to its live view + 10x magnification LCD for focus. The LCD is also articulating to 90 degrees. Also utilized cameras mirror lock up feature for for vibration free shots. These were taken in from Howell Michigan. Weather was brisk and clear. Air temp 10 degrees. Focus might have been a tad sharper but I was pleased with these.

Lunar Eclipse
